Immatricolata nuova in Italia con targa Torino nel 1957, successivamente fu venduta a Brescia nel 1982 dove è appartenuta a due noti collezionisti che l’hanno conservata con cura fino al 2015, anno in cui la vettura è stata venduta a un collezionista inglese che desiderava tenerla in Italia per poter partecipare a tutti i maggiori eventi locali.

Da allora è stata immatricolata in Inghilterra e con le nuove normative inglesi non è più necessario sottoporla al TEST MOT.

Quindi la vettura non necessita di tornare in Inghilterra periodicamente per eseguirlo.

Negli ultimi 7 anni l’auto ha partecipato a numerosi eventi fra i quali i più rilevanti sono:

·       1000 miglia 2021

·       Trofeo Nuvolari 2020

·       Trofeo Nuvolari 2018

·       Winter Marathon

Purtroppo il regime Brexit non rende più conveniente la immatricolazione in Italia e come suggerisce il proprietario stesso sarebbe invece l’ideale per un collezionista inglese che desiderasse tenerla in Italia per partecipare ai migliori eventi.

In questi anni la vettura è stata sempre assistita in tutte le gare e tenuta in rimessaggio dalla “Noci Motorclassic” che potrà continuare a fare il servizio per il nuovo proprietario.

Ecco alcune considerazioni espresse dall’attuale proprietario:

“The desirability of any MGA roadster as a model, in good colours such as Old English White and Red interior – I think they are more appreciated each year

The patinated condition of this car as an older restoration – I think this is more desirable than a collection of new parts from a catalogue screwed together

The demonstrated reliability of this car over 7 rallies including the Nuvolari 2018 and 2020 and the MM2021 – in thousands of kms our only problem was a blown fuse.

The prestige that the alloy wheels and lightweight leather steering wheel add to the whole car

The eligibility that the car has for all major rallies in Italy and continental Europe

The car is taxed, insured and road legal. There is no requirement for an annual MOT check due to its age. Noci will confirm that it would easily pass the equivalent Italian test.

It is clear that the tax and customs issue reduces its value to an EU purchaser. For an English buyer intending to compete in ACI rallies as we have done, the car is simply ready to go, with nothing to pay except the transfer of the FIVA passport to the new owner.”
